Overview
Dune-PrismGrid is a grid wrapper for arbitrary
DUNE grid implementations.
Generic prismatic elements are constructed from the host grid implementation
yielding a higher-dimensional prismatic grid with flat top and bottom. The
extension is work in progress.
Features
- Generic prismatic elements over arbitrary DUNE grid
- Structured in vertical direction
- Several additional iterators for columns and layers
- Dune Grid Format (DGF) support
- Access to host grid and host grid entities and intersections
- Work in progress: adaptivity, generic parallelization

Applications
There are some appliciations using Dune-PrismGrid. Have a look!
Documentation
There is a doxygen documentation of Dune-PrismGrid. In addition, we are
working on a manual for Dune-PrismGrid.
