Project on flow through a two stroke engigne with reduced chemistry. Together with Stiehl and founded by the Landesstiftung Baden-Würtenberg (2010-2013).
Project on coupled surface and ground water flow with applications in water resource management. This project is funded by the BMBF (2007-2010), For more information: click here.
Project on atmospheric flow problems for weather forecast simulation. This project is in cooperation with the DWD in Offenbach and funded as part of the MetStroem DFG-priority research program. For more information: click here. (started Sept. 2007, one position).
Project on model adaptivity in the numerical simulation of geophysical flows funded by the Landesstiftung Baden-Würtenberg (2006-2008, own funding).
Project in the DFG-priority research program Analysis und Numerik von Erhaltungsgleichungen. (1998-2004, as phd student):
The aim was to develop numerical methods for 3d simulations in the solar photosphere and convection zone. In this project I worked together with Christian Rohde and Matthias Wesenberg This project was a joint venture with the group of M. Schüssler at the Max-Planck-Institut für Aeronomie.
