Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations on Surfaces

Objective:

The intention of this workshop is to learn new numerical and analytical methods for diffusion and transport on stationary or evolving surfaces.
The workshop is part of the program of the newly established SFB/Transregio 71 "Geometric partial differential equations" at the universities of Freiburg and Tübingen, which is financed by the German Research Foundation (DFG).

Location:

The workshop will take place in the lecture hall Hermann-Herder-Str. 11 , which is in easy walking distance from Freiburg's main train station.

Workshop Fee:

A small fee of € 50 will be collected from all participants at the beginning of the workshop to cover expenses for coffee breaks and the conference dinner.

A contingent of rooms has been reserved for the participants of the workshop at the Hotel am Rathaus.
