Modelling and Simulation of PEM Fuel Cells

The Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) Berlin and the Abteilung für Angewandte Mathematik (AAM) of the University of Freiburg invite for participation and contribution to the workshop Modelling and Simulation of PEM-Fuel Cells. This workshop is an event of the network Direkt-Methanol und H2-PEM-Brennstoffzellen funded by the German federal ministry of education and research.

Location: Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics, Berlin

Scope: The workshop addresses different fields in mathematical modelling and simulation of low temperature methanol and hydrogen PEM fuel cells. The focus is on modelling by systems of partial differential equations. Topics include but are not limited to

The programme consisted of lectures by invited speakers and shorter contributed presentations of 20 minutes. The organizers consider the publication of a selected paper compilation in a special issue of a scientific journal.
